PATENT FOUR BARREL BREECH LOADING HAMMERLESS GUN' and with fine acanthus detailing at the breech end, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. choke in all, Thorn second (improved) patent double-action rotating striker patent four-barrelled treble-grip action, patent no. 213 of 1882, the rear trigger drawing the action to full cock, the front trigger firing the mechanism, manual tang mounted safety lever with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, removable striker discs (dot marked 1-4) and central 'CHARLES LANCASTER'S PATENT' marking in a roundel, Jones patent rotary underlever, carved fences, beaded border engraving, the sides of the action engraved 'CHARLES LANCASTER'S PATENT.
